How we work

How we coordinate your content project

Prepared for the quote

Costs and lead times

No hidden costs: here are the factors that determine what content creation costs and how long it takes. We confirm the exact rate and lead time in the quote.

Wat bepaalt de kosten

  • Content type Copywriting (original), transcreation (creative), plain language (rewriting), editing (improving) and DTP (layout) each carry their own rates.
  • Complexity Standard web text versus research-heavy whitepaper versus creative campaign for 5 markets simultaneously: complexity is a key pricing factor.
  • Number of languages Volume discounts for parallel assignments in multiple languages. A shared brief and brand glossary reduce coordination costs per language.
  • Urgency Standard lead time confirmed in the quote, or a rush rate for projects needed sooner.

Wat bepaalt de doorlooptijd

  • Content type and scope Single web text moves faster than a content series; full website or campaign work scheduled in consultation. Lead time confirmed in the quote.
  • Brief quality A complete brand brief at the point of instruction = optimal writer preparation. An incomplete brief = rework and delays.
  • Revision round Every assignment includes one revision round. For complex campaign content or transcreation with multiple options, we build in extra revision time.
  • Number of languages Parallel writers per language work simultaneously — multiple languages need not slow the project if the brief is complete.

Lead time on request — depending on content type, scope and language. We confirm the exact lead time in the quote.

AI and humans

When AI helps, when a native writer is the only option

AI tools are useful for research, variant exploration and scalable volume content (product descriptions with MTPE post-editing). But for premium copywriting, transcreation of slogans and plain-language rewriting of legal documents, human expertise is not replaceable — cultural intuition, humour and legal awareness are not yet AI strengths. We are transparent about which model fits your content strategy: purely human, AI-assisted or hybrid. You decide.

What is the difference between copywriting and translation?
Translation converts an existing text into another language. Copywriting creates original text with a specific goal — to persuade, inform or convert. Transcreation combines both: the message is creatively rewritten for a different culture so the emotional impact is preserved.
When do I need transcreation rather than marketing translation?
Transcreation is the right choice when the power of your content depends on wordplay, a cultural reference, rhythm or humour that cannot be translated literally. Slogans, brand taglines and emotional campaign headlines are typical transcreation assignments. See our transcreation page for the full picture.
What is plain language and when is it required?
Plain language is clear, direct writing (CEFR level B1 or lower) for a broad audience. In the UK, government departments are required to use plain English by the Government Communication Service guidelines. For health insurers, banks and utilities plain language is also practically essential — measurable in fewer complaints and enquiries.
Which languages do you offer content creation in?
Native copywriting in 225+ languages — from English, German, French and Dutch to rare markets. Our writers are mother-tongue speakers with marketing or domain expertise in their region. For low-resource languages where native copywriters are scarce, we work with specialist consultants.
How do you support brand consistency across languages?
A brand brief is captured once (tone of voice, banned terms, preferred phrasings) and used by every writer in every language. For long-term partnerships we build a brand-voice glossary — consulted by every new writer. Brand voice systematisation across markets, as a workflow layer.
How long does a copywriting project take?
Lead time depends on content type, scope and language and is confirmed in the quote. Single web texts move faster than full content series; rush assignments are possible at a rush rate. We confirm the achievable deadline in the quote.
How does your pricing model for content creation work?
Rates per word or per project, depending on: content type (blog, whitepaper, campaign), complexity, number of languages, urgency, and the share of transcreation versus direct copywriting. For content marketing retainers we work with monthly packages with fixed output and agreed rates. Rates are confirmed in writing in advance.
